Shannon Davis’ Biography
Attorney Shannon Davis Young has always believed in the power of one’s voice. She began making her own voice heard at an early age, singing to anyone within earshot, constantly inquisitive, and continually seeking knowledge and understanding.
Attorney Davis Young’s passion for music and art ultimately led her to attend Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, and obtain a Bachelor of Arts in voice. She continues to pursue that passion, singing when invited to events, local and abroad, participating in open mic events and poetry slams, and finding ways to integrate art into her everyday living. Her inclination towards learning and education led her to tutor and eventually become a math teacher in one of Florida’s high needs schools. As she tutored for years prior to becoming a teacher, she developed a teaching philosophy based in flexibility and creativity. She incorporated music into the classroom as a way to promote creative learning and was rewarded for the gains her students made as a result of her teaching methods.
Attorney Davis Young’s affinity for advocacy and the protection of rights and interests led her to obtain a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Barry University, Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law, in Orlando, Florida. In 2012, she formally established The Law Office of Shannon N. Davis, P.A. (MYV Law Firm), in the Central Florida area, and though she has gained experience in a plethora of practice areas, she focused her legal practice on Business Law, Real Estate Law, and Entertainment Law.
Though her focus at Simon Law Group has shifted, her goal in the practice of law remains the same: to educate, empower, enable, and equip her clients to maximize their voices by giving volume to their legal interests and navigating wisely through said matters. As an artist, educator, entrepreneur, attorney, and counselor, Attorney Davis is a uniquely positioned conduit, giving volume to the unheard interests of her clients.
